I was born and raised in Croatia, in Southern Europe, in a beautiful coastal region by the Adriatic Sea, better known as Dalmatia. This is where I have started my explorations in art, at the very early age, and consequently attended the regional Fine Arts High School, to get my first formal training in drawing, painting, sculpture, and art history.
I have chosen to continue my art studies at the university, and graduated from the Fine Arts Academy college in my hometown with a dual B.A. major in art education and art restoration and conservation. Soon afterwards, I have married and joined my husband in California, where I have added some training and experience in studio art at the University of California San Diego and Athenaeum School of the Arts in La Jolla, California.
Currently settled in Southern California, near a well known artist destination, Laguna Beach, I continue to explore the beauty of nature through artistic expression, by creating oil paintings, and finding great joy in meeting new collectors and exceeding their expectations.
My paintings have found their way to private collections across most of the United States, Canada, Japan, and Europe.
